Pump tracks and BMX tracks across the East Midlands, county by county, from free tracks in village parks and recreation grounds to club BMX race circuits.
About this guide
A pump track is a loop of rollers and banked turns that you ride by pumping your body up and down rather than pedalling. Get it right and you can lap without a single pedal stroke. Most of the tracks here are in public parks and recreation grounds, and many are open to scooters, skateboards and inline skates as well as bikes.
We have included BMX tracks too, because riders use both and the riding overlaps: club race tracks with a start hill, and smaller BMX tracks in parks. Each card says which it is, and where a track is run by a club or ridden in booked sessions.
For what to ride, what to wear, track etiquette and the other regions, see our guide to pump tracks in the UK.
