Description
Osmaston Park BMX Track, Derby – built in 2021 by Derby City Council with funding from British Cycling’s Places to Ride programme (£49,644). The track sits on the southern side of Osmaston Park Road, close to Moorways Sports Village, and combines tarmac and stone surfaces.

The layout features berms, rollers, and jumps, with a mid-section split line offering both beginner-friendly and advanced options. It’s designed for all ages and abilities, with smooth flow sections and progressive jumps. The mixed surface means it rides fast but benefits from dry conditions.
Events and Community
The track is managed by Derby City Council Parks in partnership with local group Ozzy Wheels. It regularly hosts community sessions and family events, such as Easter rides and bike maintenance activities.

Access via Moor Lane opposite Moorways Sports Village, around three miles south of Derby city centre. Limited on-site parking; additional spaces at Moorways. Approx. coordinates: 52.89391° N, −1.4651° W.
