The Trails
The pump track was built by Four One Four Skateparks for Bolsover District Council, with support from South Normanton Parish Council, on the site of the recreation ground's former BMX track. The old track's footprint was reused and reshaped with imported material to create a single asphalt-surfaced loop of rolling bumps, tabletop jumps and bermed corners, designed to be ridden continuously by pumping rather than pedalling. It's Bolsover District's first pump track, suited to riders of all ages, from complete beginners to more experienced BMX and mountain bike riders working on their pump technique.
