Description
Raunds Skate Park and Pump Track is a concrete skate park with a separate concrete pump track in Amos Lawrence Park, Raunds, Northamptonshire. Raunds Town Council opened them to the public in February 2025, and the grand opening followed on 22 March 2025.
The Pump Track
- A concrete pump track of rollers and banked turns for bikes, scooters and skateboards, set apart from the skate park so younger riders have their own space.
- Its concrete sides are painted in bright street art.
The Skate Park
- A concrete skate park for skateboards, BMX and scooters, with quarter pipes, banks and a rail.
- The design was worked out with the town's Public Skate Park Working Group.
The Project
- Both were built by Bendcrete Skate Parks. Work started in November 2024, and the project was paid for by local sponsors, a crowdfunding campaign and North Northamptonshire Council ward funding.
Also in the Park
- Amos Lawrence Playing Field, where Raunds Town Youth FC trains and plays, plus a sports wall and a community orchard.
Getting Here
- Amos Lawrence Park, Stanwick Road, Raunds, NN9 6DG.
- The park's car park was extended as part of the project, and a concrete footpath links it to the skate park and pump track.
