Under threatA New Zealand adventure tourism company, Skyline Enterprises, wants to build an attraction with a luge track, chairlift and café on derelict land within Parkwood Springs; it says affected MTB trails would be retained or relocated, and an attendee reports being told at a drop-in that lost sections would be rebuilt like-for-like, though none of this is officially confirmed and the chairlift will not offer bike uplift.
