Shredhill Bike Park
Shredhill Bike Park in Newnham, Gloucestershire, was previously known as Redhill Extreme. The site closed in 2022, then reopened under new ownership in July 2023 as Shredhill, run by Cheltenham bike shop Williams Cycles and a volunteer dig crew. Riders will find eight trails across blue, red and black grades, from beginner friendly rollers to the National British 4X race track, plus a dedicated dirt jumps area. No booking is needed, just turn up and pay on the day.

The Trails
- The Track (Blue). The park's 4X race track, wide and fast with a range of features. The top section was reworked in 2024 to improve the flow and speed. Shredhill hosts a round of the National British 4X series here every year.
- You're ma Boy (Blue). A short, rollable trail with pump, flow and jumps. A good starting point for beginners.
- Learn to Berm (Blue). A line built for gaining confidence in corners, with berm after berm down to a step up at the bottom.
- The Playground (Blue). New for 2026, this pump track style area offers multiple line choices with rollers, tables and hips, with options to transfer between lines. Suitable for all abilities.
- Old Man Mulch (Red). A twisty trail with a step up onto mulch, spread across three levels so riders can build height and confidence at their own pace.
- Dirt Jumps (Red/Black). A hilltop jump area, open and fully operational, running from beginner to intermediate lines. Shredhill plans to keep adding more advanced lines through 2026.
- Shreddy or Not (Black). The Berm to Berm line built by Brendan Fairclough has been reworked into a new trail mixing red and black grades that can be ridden multiple ways.
- Steak & Steeze (Black). Launched in summer 2025, this is the biggest line at the park, with a whale tail, hips and big tables. Recommended for experienced riders with full face protection.
Facilities
Shredhill has a car park and toilets on site. The park is open Saturdays 10am to 6pm, Sundays 10am to 4pm, and Wednesday evenings from 4pm during June to September, though hours can change around events so check Shredhill's website or social media before travelling. There is no advance booking, riders sign a waiver on arrival and pay on the day by cash or card. Camping is available on Saturday nights through spring and summer, and on selected event weekends, at ยฃ7 per person per night with no need to book. The campsite has running water and toilets but no showers.
