Dyfi’s DEWALT line taking shape

Dig crew, take a bow 🤔 The Dyfi Bike Park team has been flat out on their latest DEWALT project — a freeride-style build inspired by snow parks, blending progression and style into a line designed for everyone to jam on.

Sam Hodgson brought the digger skills to carve the dirt; now Alf Raynor’s crafting the wooden features to pull the line together. Coming soon 👀

Singletrack’s Crowdfund Tops 59k

Singletrack’s Crowdfund Tops 59k

Singletrack’s Crowdcube raise has topped £59,718 from over 170 investors — passing its £40k goal and underlining the depth of support within its community. As noted in Shifting Gears: MTB Media Faces a Changing Landscape, independent titles are navigating a tougher market, but the success of this raise shows there’s still an appetite among readers to back the outlets they value.

Although we may operate for similar eyeballs, we want to see independent MTB media like Singletrack around for the long run — diversity in voices keeps the scene strong.

YT Industries USA to Close After Eight Years of Operation

YT Industries USA to Close After Eight Years of Operation

After eight years operating in North America, YT Industries USA has announced it will close its business. The team said that despite “best efforts,” YT USA and YT Industries Germany were unable to reach an agreement on future operations.

The closure ends a chapter that began in 2016 when YT expanded from Germany into the U.S. market with a focus on direct-to-consumer mountain bikes and a strong rider community. The U.S. team thanked customers, partners, and riders for “eight incredible years” and said it had been “an honor to ride with you.”

In the UK, assets from the now-closed YT Mill in Guildford — including more than £170,000 worth of bikes and parts — were recently auctioned with bids starting around £2,600, as part of the brand’s wider restructuring.

According to Singletracks (Jeff Barber, Nov 1 2025), the U.S. closure follows YT Industries Germany’s insolvency earlier this year. U.S. bikes now show as “out of stock,” contact details have been removed from the site, and both YT Mill showrooms in California and Arkansas have stopped taking reservations. It’s not yet clear how customer orders or warranties will be handled.
