Forestry England says resurfacing on Park Wood and a short diversion on Cocklet Hill are still in place while the surface sets, with car park and other closures linked to timber haulage and diseased larch harvesting.

Published by On Track the final layout shows a multi-loop asphalt pump track with a clear start area and access path, linked progressive lines, multiple rollers, bermed corners, a step-up step-down quad, a jump box, and a pipe / fly-out feature. The design supports different speeds and line choices, with space to build skills gradually rather than forcing a single fast lap.
With funding secured and the layout agreed, the project now moves from planning into delivery.
