Description

Exeter Bike Park

A compact, purpose-built jump park on a steep hillside at Pottles Farm, Exminster, just outside Exeter, covering around 3.5 acres. Five trails and lines span Blue to Black: a mellow Blue flow trail, two Red lines including a dual-slalom track, a Black line with jumps and a wooden drop, and a dedicated trick-jump line. The park reopened in 2026 after a lengthy rebuild led by rider and builder Ellis Luckett of Chasing Dopamine MTB, with this first phase intended to grow over the coming years. Riders must book a day pass online in advance before riding.

The Trails

  • SueBlue (Blue): The easiest and most mellow trail on site. Small tabletops, berms and gentle descents, good for building confidence.
  • Table Tango (Red): A jump-focused line with plenty of tabletops and forgiving landings, S-berm sections and a step-up finish.
  • Hydro (Red, Dual Slalom): A side-by-side race trail with its own start line, tabletops, whoops, rollers and berms for riding head to head with a friend.
  • Dopamine (Black): The advanced line. Two small gap jumps, a berm, a 5ft wooden drop and a medium gap jump.
  • Kahooners (Trick Jump Line): Currently a single 7ft kicker with a mulch landing, with plans to expand into a full three-jump line for trick riding.

There is no mechanised uplift. A short push-up track gets riders back to the top between laps.

Sessions are ticketed with capped rider numbers. Booking a day pass or membership online in advance is required, riders cannot turn up without a pre-bought pass. Current sessions run Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with times posted on the site's booking calendar.

Facilities

  • Car park in an adjoining grass field.
  • Toilets on site.
  • A small reception hut for check-in.

Pottles Farm Camping operates on the same site, handy if you fancy staying over after a session.
