Description
The Avoriaz mountain biking region is set in the French alps in the Portes du Soleil MTB area. Avoriaz Is a quiet clifftop town that has fantastic access to downhill tracks, freeride runs, cross-country singletrack, a pump track, a bike park and easier family MTB trails.

Avoriaz Mountain Biking
- There are 4 black, 3 red, 3 blue, a bike park, a 4X course, and 4 chair lifts. The highest lift is at 2277 m. The vertical drop is 1277 m, there is access to 650 km of trails and is renowned for Downhill riding.
- It's famous for the national downhill course that takes you down into the Linderets bike park. From there you can get easy access to its neighboring Chatel.
- From Linderets there is an MTB trail down to Montriond via the Parchets piste and then on to Avoriaz via the river trail.
- Lifts are open generally mid to end of June to September
- Pass'Portes du Soleil is an annual event that takes in many of the regions of the Portes du Soleil region
- You can get to the neighbouring MTB region of Les Crosets by getting the Mossettes lift and then riding the fire roads to Les Crosets.
