A new facebook group has come into play called the Crewe Mountain Bike Skills Park initiative with the intent to draw support for a new bike park in Leighton, Crewe, Cheshire way.

This group is dedicated to establishing a Mountain Bike Skills facility in Crewe providing an accessible for riders of all ages and abilities to, practice, and enjoy MTB.
It aims to aid:
- Health and Well-being: Encouraging physical activity and health through outdoor
- Community Engagement Creating a local space for families, friends, and riders to connect and grow together
- Environmental Impact: Reducing the need for travel to facilities, lowering emissions, promoting sustainability
- Economic Growth: Boosting the local businesses
Overall establishing Crewe as a hub that can inspire active lifestyles, support our local economy and reduce travel to other areas such as Cannock or Llandegla facilities.
Adrian Clark is one of the folks behind the initiative and the local council is Cheshire East Council. We joined the group and recommend they get in touch with the UK MTB Trail Alliance where loads of practical support is on offer as well as good number of others kicking off similar iniaitives, for support or come through the other side with wise insight.
Definitely also worth them checking out the success of recent case studies like Burlish Bike Park in Worcestershire, Leeds Urban Bike Park, Newbold Comyn in Leamington Spa and Northampton Bike Park to name but a few.
