It has a graded cross-country loop of green, blue, red and black trails, a pump track, a BMX skills track and a jump line, with under 5km of trail across the site. Riding is free, funded through the on-site cafe, bike shop, bike hire and coaching.

The Trails

  • Leeds Urban Bike Park has trails for every level, running from green through to black across a graded cross-country loop, with under 5km of trail in total.
  • Alongside the graded trails there is a dedicated Pump Track, a BMX Skills Track, and a Jump Line for dirt jump riders, with trail features built into the graded loop to help newer riders progress.

Local Organisation

  • Leeds Urban Bike Park is run by Cycle Pathway CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company and the venue's licensed operator.
  • The bike park receives no ongoing public funding: running costs are covered entirely by the on-site cafe, bike shop, bike hire and coaching, which is what keeps riding free.

Facilities

  • Car park, toilets, cafe, bike shop, bike hire and coaching (1-2-1, group and school sessions) are all on site.
  • Those without their own bike can hire one on site. Check the venue's website for current hire and coaching rates.

Beyond the Trails

  • The bike park sits inside Middleton Park, a 630 acre council park that includes around 200 acres of ancient woodland, among the largest remaining in West Yorkshire.
  • The wider park also has a lake for fishing, rose gardens, a playground, and the Middleton Railway, one of the world's oldest working railways, running along its edge, if you want to make a day of it beyond riding.
