And here is why? The Megatrack is a large, purpose-built bike park style trail at Golfie, developed over four to five years and built around scale, flow, and sustained speed. The line is dominated by huge berms, long sweeping corners, and a consistent gradient that encourages riders to carry momentum from top to bottom. Small jumps and shark-fin style features are integrated into the trail rather than standing alone, keeping the focus on rhythm and corner linking rather than single-hit features. In contrast to the Tweed Valley’s more natural and technical trails, this track delivers a clearly bike-park-style experience, with shaping designed to manage speed and maintain flow even when conditions are greasy.

We’ve created a dedicated iBikeRide listing for Woburn Bike Park to track the rebuild, starting with the new flow line, and we’ll update it as new tracks and features are confirmed through the ongoing build series.

Plans have been submitted that could see the mountain bike trail network at Lochore Meadows Country Park extended by around 2.3km, building on the existing riding already in place.

Entries are now live for the Fox Antifreeze 2026 at Coed y Brenin, with the timed lap endurance event scheduled for Saturday 14 March 2026.

Tarland Trails has opened its annual rider survey, giving riders the chance to share feedback on the trails, facilities, and overall experience. The survey has previously helped shape real changes on the ground, including the development of Project Mushroom, installation of a defibrillator at the car park, and the addition of a bike wash.

The survey is open now and takes just a few minutes to complete.

The proposed facility next to Perdiswell Leisure Centre is set to deliver a larger, multi-user pump track with beginner and advanced loops, following council confirmation of a January 2026 construction start.
