QECP Trail Collective are calling for volunteers to help maintain the mountain bike trails at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, with dig days on Saturdays 2, 16 and 30 May 2026 starting at 9:00 am.
Forestry England's Deadwater Fell double black downhill trail opens on Saturday, 2 May. Riders meet at Team Cycles at 12 pm before heading up to the Mast. The video below shows some of the lower sections of the trail, the new top section is more technical!

The community-powered bike park in North Yorkshire has officially broken ground, with local contractors including Ken Rodney Construction, Hedgehog Furniture, and Fencing Solutions and Landscapes donating their time and machinery pro bono.
