In an update shared by project lead Louise Raine in the Proposed Richmond Bike Park Facebook group, the team confirmed completion of the lease agreement. Thanks were given to Scotts Wright Solicitors for providing pro bono legal support to the project, and to Zetland Estates for making the land available.

Richmond Bike Park is a volunteer-led community initiative aiming to create a dedicated bike park for the Richmond area, providing space for mountain biking and progressive skills development. The project has been developed through local community support, fundraising, and collaboration with landowners and professional partners, with the goal of delivering a sustainable riding facility that can be built and maintained with ongoing community involvement.

The lease signing follows recent progress on planning permission and funding, and represents a key milestone as the project moves from approvals into delivery. With legal access to the site now secured, the focus is expected to remain on community build days and upcoming events already outlined by the project team.
