Description

Witton Park Pump Track is a small asphalt pump track beside the Witton Park Cycle Centre in Witton Country Park, Blackburn, opened by Blackburn with Darwen Council in December 2015. It sits just below the Billinge Hill trails, so it is easy to combine the two.

The Track

  • Playscape Engineering designed and built the track with the council to encourage and challenge new riders: a 50 metre by 18 metre loop of rollers, berms and a table top.
  • It suits all ages, from young children on balance bikes upwards, on BMX bikes or mountain bikes.

  • A learn-to-ride track opened beside the cycle centre in 2021.
  • Billinge Hill has the park's mountain bike trails, a short ride away.
