Probably the best trail riding within about a 1.5-2 hour drive of it.
Lots of pedaling. Plenty of places where it would be really really good with another 10 degrees of slope. If I were trailbuilder, I'd keep the flow but add a more technical trail - more armour and add some log rides and/ or "north shore" features
Flow, berms, some armoured sections to get a bit technical. The Beast does a lot as a flow downhill with what geology gave them
Not a fan of the tarmac surface on some of the bermed sections.
Official car park is expensive for what it is, but there are other options if you're willing to pedal a bit
yes
So much potential but this place sucks so bad. Don't bother, waste of time
no
For a quick ride around then Thetford has a bit of everything but nothing major. The red well let's just say I have seen family's on ancient relics of bikes take their 4/5 year old down the Beast with no issues at all.
If you are looking for jumps then best avoid but for a fun day out with the kids or just to keep fit Thetford is great
Easy trials for all abilities. Nice play area for kids and a little pump track. Mostly the trails are well kept.
Very limited variety of riding, basically it is a pedal fest all round with little or no real technical bits or jumps.
