Description

The Willow Centre Pump Track is a new asphalt pump track beside The Willow Centre in Cringleford, on the south-west edge of Norwich. Cringleford Parish Council commissioned it and Four One Four Skateparks designed and built it in 2026, with a main loop of rollers and berms and a separate beginner loop.

The Track

  • The main track is an asphalt loop of rollers, berms and straights, entered from a start ramp. Arrows on the track show the riding direction.
  • A separate beginner loop sits alongside it, and the council asks new riders to build their experience there first.
  • It is built for BMX, mountain bikes, dirt jumpers, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades. E-scooters and anything motorised are not allowed, and neither are stunt pegs, trailers, prams or trikes.
  • The track was supported by the Hornsea 3 Community Fund and South Norfolk Council.

Before You Ride

  • The track is open during daylight hours only. A helmet is required for everyone on wheels, and the council recommends knee pads, elbow pads and full-finger gloves.
  • Children aged 11 and under must be with an adult. Spectators and dogs stay off the track.
  • Riders already moving have right of way, so wait for a clear gap before dropping in from the start ramp, and keep to one rider per section.
  • Don't ride when it is icy or the track is damaged, and take care when mud, gravel or leaves have collected on the berms. To report a problem, contact Cringleford Parish Council on 01603 250198 or clerk@cringlefordpc.org.uk.

Also at The Willow Centre

  • The Willow Centre is Cringleford's community centre, with a bistro open during the centre's opening hours.
  • Outside, there is a play area with a basketball hoop and The Willow Centre Woodland Trail.

Nearby

  • Mulbarton Pump Track is an asphalt loop of rollers and berms in The Meadows play area, Mulbarton, about 6 km to the south.
