Pump Track and Jump Line
The closed-loop pump track is designed for all wheels — bikes, BMX, skateboards, and scooters. Riders can progress from pedalling and pushing to generating speed through corners and rollers. The 130 m layout includes technical flow sections and an adjoining 40 m jump line for advanced riders.
Learn to Ride Area
The adjacent 3,200 sq ft learn-to-ride zone uses porous asphalt to manage surface water run-off. It provides a safe environment for beginners and young riders to develop balance and handling skills on a road-style circuit, with bikes available for use.
Other Stuff
The facility replaces the former BMX track at Cross Lane Park and includes lighting and secure bike storage. Rest areas are built into the design. The site will be activated by Access Sport through community BMX sessions and local school engagement ahead of the official opening.
