Description
Brabyns BMX Track is a flowing loop for BMX and mountain bikes in Brabyns Park, Marple Bridge, beside the River Goyt. Stockport Council owns the park, and local volunteers look after the track.
The Track
- The track was first built in 2004. Volunteers from the Brabyns Bike Track Group resurfaced it in 2024 with help from a local track builder, and it now rides as a loop of pale hard-packed rollers and berms edged with wood chip and boulders.
- It suits younger riders building confidence as well as anyone after some flowing laps.
Local Organisations
- The Brabyns Bike Track Group cares for the track and posts news and work days on Facebook.
Also in the Park
- Brabyns Park borders the River Goyt and the Peak Forest Canal, with a football pitch and riverside paths.
