Abergele Pump Track

Abergele Pump Track (Trac Pwmp Abergele in Welsh) in Conwy, North Wales is a community-built pump track delivered by Abergele Wheelers Pump Track CIC with design and construction by Velosolutions UK. The project includes a main asphalt pump track with technical features and a smaller children’s track, and an advanced jump line.

Trac Pwmp Abergele now features three riding zones:

• A beginner pump track designed for younger riders and early-stage progression.

• A main Velosolutions asphalt pump track with a full loop, rollers, berms and multiple technical lines for BMX, MTB, skateboards and scooters.

• An advanced jump line providing a higher-level option for experienced riders.

​Other stuff

This is a true grassroots community project, inspired by successful models elsewhere. Volunteers, local trades, donors and residents are all contributing. The site, located opposite the children’s play park and Gorsedd Stones, has also incorporated environmental measures such as habitat relocation for invertebrates.
