Description

Clyne Woods BMX Pump Track is a free pump track in a woodland clearing in Clyne Valley Country Park, on the western edge of Swansea. It is a multi-lane loop of rollers and berms just off the Clyne Valley cycle path, and Swansea Council has plans to refurbish it.

The Track

  • Several parallel lanes of rollers linked by berms at each end, set in a clearing in the trees. The berms are asphalt, and some of the straights are loose gravel.
  • It is showing its age, with some loose sections and weeds in the gravel. In 2025 Swansea Council started looking for a contractor to refurbish it, so the layout may change. If you have ridden it recently, please let us know how it is riding.

Also in the Park

  • Clyne Valley Country Park has the Clyne Valley cycle path (National Cycle Network Route 4) and woodland walks. The Moos Trails and Clyne Woods XC Trails are about 2 km down the valley.

Getting Here

  • Head for The Railway Inn on Gower Road, Upper Killay, SA2 7DR, and join the Clyne Valley cycle path there. The track is in the woods just above the path.
