Description
Walkerburn Pump Track is a free asphalt pump track on the banks of the River Tweed in Walkerburn, Scottish Borders. It is a single loop of roughly 100 m, built by Velosolutions UK for the village's community development trust, and it sits beside a multi-use games area.
The Track
The loop is smooth asphalt with rollers, berms and a few jumps, and the council describes it as suited to beginner and intermediate riders. It is open to bikes, scooters, skateboards and roller skates, so expect a mix of wheels at busy times.
The track has Vorld lap timing, so you can record laps and see how you rank in the Vorld app.

Next to the track is a multi-use games area with a basketball hoop, a football goal and a cricket wicket.
Getting Here
The track is on recreation ground off Tweedholm Avenue, beside the River Tweed and just off the A72 through the village. Parking nearby is limited, and the track is an easy ride or walk from anywhere in Walkerburn.
