Description

The Deeside Way follows the Old Royal Deeside Railway line from Aberdeen to the Cairngorms National Park. It's split into four sections and is multi-use i.e. popular with walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers, and families. It's total distance end to end is 41 miles. Also you pass through the mountain bike trails and downhill tracks at Scolty along this route.

  • It's mostly off road with slight gradients so good for families. You can see parts of the old railiway and that Cairngorms mountains. Check out the four route descriptions and GPS routes below.
