Description

Auchterarder Pump Track is a free asphalt pump track of about 115 m in Auchterarder Public Park, Perth and Kinross. Built by Velosolutions, it has a main loop with a big 180-degree berm at one end, S-berms on the return, a double berm and an optional advanced jump line. It has Vorld lap timing too.

The Track

The Velosolutions-built loop is all asphalt, so it rides fast and stays rideable after rain. Riders pump through the rollers and berms to carry speed round the circuit, and the optional advanced jump line gives something extra for riders who want more than the main loop. With Vorld timing you can record laps and see how you rank in the Vorld app.

The track is run by the local charity Auchterarder Community Sports and Recreation (ACSR). It asks riders to wear a helmet, keep to the marked track, follow the signs and give way to riders ahead of them. There are no lights, so ride in daylight.

Also in the Park

ACSR opened a mountain bike trail in the park alongside the pump track, built for riders of different skill levels and confidence. The charity's Cycle Hub also runs community bike hire, led rides and riding skills sessions, so contact ACSR on info@acsr.org.uk for what is on and how to book.

Getting Here

The track is in Auchterarder Public Park, off Western Road, next to the football pitches. Parking at the park is extremely limited, so arrive by bike or on foot if you can. Cycling is not allowed on the football pitch.
