Tarland Trails has opened a Blue + trail called Rip Tide.
Like this?
Delivered by the trail builders CRC, Rip Tide is a blue + graded trail. It is a combination of flow and tech and you can think of it as the easier cousin to their red trail Call Me Chris'.
It starts from the summit of Pittenderich and descends the eastern slopes to deliver a trail packed with rock features, tight berms and the odd jump to warm you up before you hit and can now connect straight onto the existing Crowd Surfin trail in the section of the hill.
'Crowd Surfin' that continues on after Rip Tide is a blue jump trail full of berms, tabletops, and kickers. Riding these two trails together makes an awesome end-to-end experience down the hill.

- Rim Dinger. The rock drop on High Pressure has been given a name with a sign as a warning for the damage it can do to your bike rim if you don’t have high pressure in those tyres.
- Mike’s Elevator is getting a sign. This new shortcut climb beside Pete’s Ladder gets you back up to the top of the jump zone quickly if you’re hardy enough to make it through the technical sections!
