Swinley Forest MTB riders now have a handy option if they forget to charge their e-bike before heading out. Swinley Bike Hub has teamed up with Bluetti to offer e-bike charging right in the forest using a portable power station.

The new setup is available at The Summit, Swinley Bike Hub’s 10-acre skills development zone featuring progressive trails from green to black, with drops, jumps, and coaching sessions. Just ask a member of staff during your session if you need a top-up.
The newly installed Bluetti charging station is located right within The Summit, not out on the general trail network—so charging is best suited for riders using this skills area rather than those out on the wider red or blue trails.
Swinley isn’t the only trail centre to offer e-bike charging. BikePark Wales also provides free charging facilities onsite, available from 11am to 3pm daily, near the visitor centre. Unlike Swinley’s portable option, BikePark Wales uses fixed charging points that may offer faster recharge times.
Portable power stations like Bluetti offer flexibility but typically deliver slower charges compared to mains-powered setups. They’re helpful in a pinch but won’t replace the speed or reliability of a wall socket.
Swinley Forest Mountain Bike Centre in Bracknell, England offers a mix of red, blue, and green cross-country trails, a few downhill runs, and a purpose-built skills zone at The Summit. Trails are sandy and well-draining year-round. For full trail details, local group links, and to leave a review or add photos, visit the Swinley Forest MTB trail guide on iBikeRide.
