Overview

Trail Blazers returns to Nevis Range in 2026 after a sold-out 2025 event! This junior enduro gives riders aged 8–16 the chance to experience timed enduro racing on the lower trails of Nevis Range — no gondola required. It’s all about confidence, fun, and discovering the excitement of mountain biking in a friendly and safe environment.

Event Format

• Type: Junior Enduro (morning-only)
• Age Range: 8 – 16 years
• Categories: 8–10 (M/F), 11–13 (M/F), 14–16 (M/F)
• Stages: 3 timed trails
• E-Bikes: Not permitted
• Gondola Access: Not required (lower trails only)

Riders can complete each trail as many times as they like within the three-hour window. The fastest time from each trail counts toward the overall result.

Timetable

Saturday, 14 November 2026

• Registration (All Events): 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the Nevis Range Bike Shop
• Rider Briefing: 8:45 AM (under the Hub)
• Trail Blazers Enduro: 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• Prize Giving (Mini & Trail Blazers): 1:00 PM (or earlier if finished)

All three trails must be completed at least once to record a valid result. Fastest combined times from each trail determine final standings.

Additional Information

• Timing: Each rider receives a timing chip; must be returned after the event.
• Chaperones: Required for under-16 riders; may register on the day (no charge).
• Trail Map: Based on the 2025 route – updated map coming soon.
• Public Trails: Some lower trails remain open with diversions in place.

Facilities

• Food & Drink: Nevis Range Café & Bar open from 7 AM – late. Burger Van and Bombay Bicycle Club (TBC).
• Parking: £6 per vehicle, first come first served, pay on the day.
• Overnight Parking: £15 per night (book on-site or online).
• Accommodation: Basecamp Hotel and Campervan Park.
