Mini Blazers 2026

Mini Blazers 2026 takes place at Nevis Range in Fort William, Scottish Highlands on Saturday 14 November 2026. This is a standalone morning event for young riders aged 4–7, offering a fun and friendly introduction to enduro racing on the lower trails at Nevis Range.

Event Format

• Type: Mini enduro for young riders
• Age Range: 4 – 7 years
• Categories: Ages 4–5 | Ages 6–7
• Classification: M/F/X: 4–5 / 6–7
• Bike Type: Balance bikes and pedal bikes welcome
• E-bikes: Not permitted
• Gondola access: Not required – event held on lower trails

Race Format

Mini Blazers is designed for fun and confidence building, giving young riders a chance to experience racing in a relaxed environment:

• Short trail loop – riders can complete as many laps as they like within their session
• Fastest timed lap counts as the official result
• Two age sessions: Ages 4–5 (09:00–10:00), Ages 6–7 (10:30–11:30)
• Medals awarded to top finishers

Timetable

Registration: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM (Nevis Range Bike Shop)
Rider Briefing: 8:45 AM (under the Hub)
Ages 4–5: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Ages 6–7: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Prize Giving (with Trail Blazers): 1:00 PM (or earlier if riders finish ahead of schedule)

Event Notes

• Mini Blazers runs as a standalone morning event, separate from the Trail Blazers and Day & Night Enduro.
• Riders must hand in timing chips at the end of their session to ensure results are recorded.
• The course uses the Nevis Range skills area, with easy terrain suitable for younger riders.

Chaperones

Chaperones are required for all participants but do not need to ride. Adults who wish to accompany juniors can register as chaperones on the day at no extra charge and must display a chaperone plate on their bike.

Facilities

• Food & drink: Nevis Range Café / Bar open 7:00 AM – late; Burger Van and Bombay Bicycle Club (TBC).
• Parking: £6 per vehicle (first-come basis, pay on the day).
• Overnight parking: £15 per night – book on the day or online here.
• Accommodation: Basecamp Hotel and Campervan Park available on site.
• Other facilities: toilets, café, bar, bike workshop and shop on site.
