Description
Woodbury Field Pump Track is an asphalt pump track built by Velosolutions on Woodbury Field in Bricket Wood, near St Albans. St Stephen Parish Council opened it in 2024 alongside a new play area and outdoor gym, and it is free to ride.
The Track
- A 68 metre asphalt loop with a double berm at one end and a 180 berm at the other. The back of the central berm is asphalted too, so you can ride it as a figure of eight (Velosolutions).
- The sign at the track invites riders to use the rollers and berms to test their ability to pump speed.
Riding Here
- The parish council's code of conduct asks riders to wear a helmet at all times, keep their bike in good working order, ride within their ability, keep to the track and give riders ahead right of way. No motorbikes.
- Use of the track is unsupervised and at your own risk. Report any damage to the parish council on 01923 681443.
Also in the Park
- Woodbury Field has a fenced play area, play trail pieces, an outdoor fitness area, a basketball court with games tables, and benches. The Blackgreen Wood circular walk is nearby.
