Description
Wetherby BMX Track can be found in Wetherby, in West Yorkshire, and is a volunteer led rebuild of the original community BMX track created around forty years ago. The project is bringing the old track back to life with a refreshed layout and a new riding surface, supported by Leeds Parks and Countryside Service, Wetherby Town Council, Wetherby Lions and local companies.

Pump Track and BMX Track
The track is currently under construction with the final riding surface due to be laid and landscaping work underway. Most of the build material is already on site. Because the rebuild is volunteer led, progress depends on the availability of the volunteer group, which may affect the opening timeline. Once completed the track is intended to be a free to use community facility suitable for BMX and general bike skills riding.

Events and Community
A Friends of Wetherby BMX Track Group is being created to help with long term maintenance and to support possible future events. The group is looking for volunteers to help with gardening, landscaping, litter picking and general site upkeep. Time commitments are flexible and community support is welcomed.
