Description
Tucked away along the scenic Sustrans Route 67 cycle trail near Freemans way and the Hallfields Estate, the Wetherby BMX Track is a testament to what grassroots community spirit can achieve. What began as a passionate project forty years ago has officially been reborn as a vibrant hub for the next generation of riders in West Yorkshire. Wetherby BMX Track is a volunteer-led rebuild of the original community BMX track created around forty years ago. The project has brought the old track back to life with a refreshed layout and a new riding surface, supported by Leeds Parks and Countryside Service, Wetherby Town Council, Wetherby Lions and many local companies.

Events and Community
Friends of Wetherby BMX Track Group has been created to help with long-term maintenance and to support future events. The group is always looking for new volunteers to help with gardening, landscaping, litter picking and general site upkeep. Time commitments are flexible, and community support is welcomed.

The track sits along the Sustrans Route 67 near Freemans Way and the Hallfield estate, within the town of Wetherby. The track can be easily found on Google Maps.
