Description
Westminster Park BMX Track is a pump-style bike track in Westminster Park, Chester, revamped in asphalt in November 2024. Cheshire West and Chester Council secured the funding after requests from the local community.
The Track
- The council's revamp, funded by developer contributions, laid fresh asphalt over the old dirt lines. Several serpentine lines of rollers and berms now wind round a central island of trees, with a few older hard-packed sections alongside.
- It rides as a pump track rather than a race track, and it suits BMX bikes, mountain bikes and scooters.

- Westminster Park is a Green Flag park with a nine-hole par three golf course, bowling and croquet lawns, football and cricket pitches, an outdoor gym and a playground. A central building has a cafe, toilets and changing rooms.

- The Purple off-road cycle route from Wrexham Road passes the park.
