Description
Tattenham Way Bike Track is an asphalt pump track at Tattenham Way Recreation Ground in Burgh Heath, on the edge of Banstead in Surrey. It replaced the park's old skate area beside the tennis courts, and riders on bikes, scooters and skateboards all use it.
The Track
The track is a split-level layout of rollers and berms on a smooth asphalt surface, with a raised section built into a bank, so you can build speed by pumping rather than pedalling. It is free to ride in a council recreation ground.
Also in the Park
Tattenham Way Recreation Ground also has a playground, football pitches, tennis courts and a multi-use games court, with parking at the ground.
Getting Here
The track is off Tattenham Way, Burgh Heath, Banstead KT20 5NQ, next to the tennis courts.
