Description

Stubbylee Pump Track is a pump track built by Dirtworks in Stubbylee Park, Bacup, which opened in March 2017. It is less than a kilometre from the trails at Lee Quarry, so it makes a good warm-up or a stop on the way home.

The Track

  • Dirtworks built several lines across the slope, with hard-packed rollers and asphalt berms, next to the park's skate park.
  • Lancashire Environmental Fund money paid for it after a council consultation and a pop-up trial track.

Also in the Park

  • Stubbylee Park is a Green Flag park with a skate park and the Grade II listed Stubbylee Hall.
  • The Lee Quarry trail centre is just up the hill for longer rides.

Getting Here

  • Stubbylee Park, Park Road, Bacup, OL13 0BU.
