Good trail but just for fun or to practice styling over the jumps, lots of jumps maybe 8 in a row. Small to medium

If you live close to the trails your gonna have a great time! Pumping through the twisty sections and clearing the table tops is not that easy! If you can clear all the jumps in the black section you have a pretty good riding style. You can if you don't scrub to much speed down the trail, but you gotta be good! If you just wanna carve about and have fun the trails are not that tricky. Just depends how you look at it.
Great little trail for grins and fun, with some nice flow-e sections.

The black trails are quite easy with no gaps to clear, step ups or step downs. Id say good beginner to intermediate trails that make good use of a small arear.
The black sections really aren't that challenging, actually the whole thing feels fairly entry level. Not really a destination worth travelling distance to, but if you're local it's good for a workout and some practice or just a bit of fun. I don't really understand some parts of the course, there's tabletops and jumps that have almost no run up to get the required speed. Maybe I'm just getting old and slow.

Well marked, rides well all year round. I like the way it's laid out.

Major bad point is it's very close to some very scutty areas. Expect chavs on Halfords bikes to follow you round and eye up your bike as they have nothing better to do.
worst surface to ride on in the country.who thought compacted fine gravel was a good idea has not ridden a bike at speed on a sidewall of a tyre.i ride bike park wales mainly also afan valley, cannock chase and a quarry close to me but none are as dangerous as this course.pull up the gravel and let the earth meet the tyre.£130 grand?someone has full pockets from that just like the public gallery.
A really fun trail with a couple of different lines. They have made good use of a small here. The final descent is awesome, with tables on the black line and some fast berms on the red. Fun to just session over and over
Don't use the post code use the GPS location below
They have use the little hill well. I hope to see more small trail popping up soon I just hope the cost is less. Everyone have words with you local council as the is Funding to be had...

Nice easy ride with some great little berms and table top and the climb are easy for all. I rode 30 mile round down the canal, to get there would I go again, yes but i would get the train as there are a lot of great Pub near by.

The drainage needs some work, for £130,000 with a pump trail I would like a water less trail on a clear day. If you give Chase trail (The Volunteer group at Cannock Chase) £130,000 you would have a Mini Fort William or Bike Park Wales. If you break it down 1.5 mile trail = 2413.5
130000 / 2413.5 = £53.86 per metre that a lot in my book.
When you consider how little an area these guys had to build in, theyve done a cracking job.
Its great for when you have a few hours spare and want to keep you fitness levels up as well as small enough to keep sessioning sections in it.
We've now managed to add extra loops into the trails and can spend a good few hours up there.
Cannock Chase also being pretty near does have a lot more to offer, but living local when I have a few hours to kill, SV is were I go.
