Description
Pineham BMX Track is the home of Milton Keynes BMX Racing Club, one of the UK's longest-running BMX clubs, racing here since 1984. The race track sits in Pineham Park on land owned by The Parks Trust.
The Track
- A purpose-built BMX race track with rollers and berms between grassed banks.
- Outside club sessions the track is open to the public. The Parks Trust asks that riders under 12 are supervised by an adult, ride in one direction only, and wear protective clothing and a BMX helmet.
- Flooding and repairs can close the track at times, so check with the club before you travel.
The Club
- Milton Keynes BMX Racing Club is a registered charity with riders aged 3 to 70 and over, from complete beginners to national-level racers.
- It runs year-round coaching and racing, open gate sessions, and a free taster session for new riders.
- Novices need a long sleeve top, long trousers, gloves and a helmet, and a full face helmet to ride the track. The club has some helmets to borrow.
