Description
Padiham Pump Track is a pair of pump tracks on the lower site of Memorial Park in Padiham, by the leisure centre: an advanced asphalt track built in 2016 and a junior track. The Hapton BMX Pump Track is about two kilometres away.
The Track
- Track 2, for advanced riders, was built by Landscape Engineering in November 2016 to a design by Burnley Council's engineers. It is asphalt, with berms, rollers and chicanes, and its sign names features such as Cal Dawg's Berm and the Progressive Rollers, after the local riders who helped shape it.
- The junior track is nearby for younger and newer riders.
The Skate Park
- A new concrete wheeled sports area by Clark and Kent replaced the old metal skate ramp in 2023, with a W-ramp, a roller, a spine and a hip jump box.
Also in the Park
- Memorial Park also has tennis courts, a ball court, a play area and bowling greens, with Padiham Leisure Centre alongside.
