Description
Mildenhall Hub Pump Track is a free, all-weather asphalt pump track at Mildenhall Hub, built by Four One Four Skateparks for West Suffolk Council and opened on 16 December 2023. A beginner loop leads onto the larger main track.
The Track
- The 112,000 pound track was "terraformed, tarmacked, and turfed", partly using material saved from the Hub's own footings (West Suffolk Council). Local skate park users and Phoenix Bike Park helped choose the design.
- It has a beginner loop and a larger looping main track, and replaced the old track in Mildenhall Woods.
Riding Here
- The track is open in daylight hours, with no lighting. It is for non-motorised wheeled sports only and for ages 8 and over.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment, keep off the track when it is wet, icy or snowy, and do not wait on the rolling surfaces. Dogs are not allowed, and no alcohol or glass.
- Report problems to West Suffolk Council on 01284 763233.
