Description
Kinver Skate Park and Pump Track sits behind the Edward Marsh Centre on Legion Drive in Kinver. A four-straight bike track, refurbished by Dirtworks BMX in 2015, runs beside a skate park built in 2010.
The Track
- The four-straight bike track was refurbished in 2015 by Ricky Crompton of Dirtworks BMX.
- The Kinver Action Group organised the 23,500 pound project, with funding from Big Lottery Awards for All, the Ken Wrigley Memorial Charity and Kinver Parish Council (Gavin Williamson MP).
The Skate Park
- The skate park, built in 2010, is right beside the track, so you can ride both in one visit.
Also in the Park
- The Edward Marsh Centre grounds also have cricket and football pitches, a fenced play area, an outdoor gym, a basketball area and a cafe, plus a model railway that gives public rides.
Getting Here
- The track is on Legion Drive, off High Street, Kinver, DY7 6ET.
- Legion Drive car park is free with no time limit and has eight spaces, about four minutes' walk from the High Street (Kinver Parish Council).
