Description
Kinnerley BMX Track is a small village pump track on Mountside in Kinnerley, near Oswestry, Shropshire: a single compact loop of rollers and berms with a pale hard-packed surface, built in 2011 by Clark and Kent Contractors for Kinnerley Parish Council. It is a simple local spot for learning to pump, lapping and building confidence on rollers and turns.
The Track
Clark and Kent describe the track as a simple single-circuit design for BMX beginners, and it rides that way: one compact loop, so laps are short and repeat runs come quickly. Grassed berms hold the turns, and short pale hard-packed straights of rollers link them, with enough shape to practise rhythm and cornering without anything over-complicated. It is a local track built for steady progression rather than a big destination layout.

Village Track
The track came out of the Kinnerley Parish Plan, which called for a BMX track, and was built after about 18 months of fundraising led by local young people. Kinnerley Parish Council looks after it, along with the village play area. It sits beside the village tennis courts, so there is space to stop between laps.
Getting Here
The track is on Mountside (SY10 8DE), across the road from Kinnerley Parish Hall and beside the tennis courts. Park considerately in the village and check for any signs at the parish hall before leaving a vehicle.
