Description
Great Harwood Pump Track is a free asphalt pump track in the Game Street (Central) car park in the centre of Great Harwood, Lancashire. It is a circular loop of rollers and berms built by Clark and Kent Contractors, and it suits BMX riders, mountain bikers, scooter riders, skateboarders and rollerbladers of all levels.
The Track
- A circular asphalt loop of smooth rollers and fast berms, built by Clark and Kent Contractors.
- You build speed by pumping through the rollers rather than pedalling, so it works for riders who are just learning to flow round a loop and for experienced riders working on their cornering.
- It is open to bikes, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades, and it sits next to the multi-use games area in the same car park.
Getting Here
The track is in the Game Street car park (also signed as Central Car Park), off Game Street in the centre of Great Harwood, postcode BB5 4BZ. There is parking next to the track and it is a short walk from the shops on Blackburn Road. The car park is managed by Hyndburn Borough Council.
