Description
Edgeside Park Pump Track is an asphalt pump track by Velosolutions in Edgeside Park, Waterfoot, installed in December 2021. Rossendale Council calls it the best pump track in Rossendale, and a new skate park opened beside it in 2025.
The Track
- The 75 metre asphalt track is a figure of eight with a line cutting through the middle, so you can ride it in different directions. The berms are edged in pink.
- Lancashire Environmental Fund money paid for it alongside council funding, and the council says it attracts riders every day.
The Skate Park
- A new wheeled sports area by Canvas Spaces opened next to the pump track in July 2025, so you can ride both in one visit.
Also in the Park
- Edgeside Park also has a playground, a multi-use games area and picnic tables, and it is open all day, every day.
Getting Here
- Edgeside Park, Booth Crescent, Waterfoot, BB4 9BY.
- There is no parking in the park, so use one of the council car parks in Waterfoot.
