Description
Droitwich Pump Track and Skate Park is a new asphalt pump track and concrete skate park beside Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre. The pump track is a continuous circuit of rolling humps, berms and banked turns, with transfer lines between sections and a fly-out to finish, built for riders of all ages and abilities on bikes, BMX and scooters.
The Track
- An asphalt circuit of rollers, berms and banked turns, designed by pump track specialists On Track and created specifically for Droitwich Spa.
- The layout runs as linked loops around grassed mounds, with orange stripes painted along the tops of the berms and orange arrows painted on the surface.
- On Track point to transfer lines between sections for more experienced riders, and a fly-out at the end to practise jumps and tricks.
- Suitable for riders of all ages and abilities, on a bike, BMX or scooter.
The track was built after years of campaigning by local residents Alex Pedlow and Martin Maycroft, as part of a ยฃ600,000 Wychavon District Council investment in the pump track and skate park.
The Skate Park
Next to the pump track is a new concrete skate park built by Maverick Skateparks. It is a street-style park with banks, transitions, ledges and halfpipes, for skateboards, BMX, scooters and inline skates.

The track sits behind Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre, which has been redeveloped by the council and is run by Rivers Fitness. It has swimming pools, including a new learner pool, and a cafe. Floodlit artificial football pitches sit right next to the track.
Getting Here
- Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre car park: Briar Mill, Droitwich Spa, WR9 0RZ. The pump track is right next to the car park, behind the leisure centre. The car park is large, with cycle parking as well.
