Description
Dordon Pump Track is a council pump track on Kitwood Avenue Recreation Ground in Dordon, near Tamworth in North Warwickshire. It is a single asphalt loop of berms and rollers, free to ride and open to anyone who turns up.
The Track
- A flowing loop of berms, rollers and jumps on an asphalt surface, built by Clark and Kent Contractors for North Warwickshire Borough Council.
- You build speed by pumping through the features rather than pedalling, so it works on BMX bikes, mountain bikes, scooters, skateboards and inline skates.
- The council provided it as a safe place for local children and families to ride, and it sits in the open on the grass next to the park's play area.
Getting Here
Kitwood Avenue Recreation Ground is on Kitwood Avenue in Dordon, postcode B78 1PE. There is a small car park beside the play area, with more street parking on the surrounding estate roads. Dordon is on the A5 between Tamworth and Atherstone. The park is run by North Warwickshire Borough Council.
