great for jumps and quick repeat of trails

There are no facilities around but it's a great place to keep going up and down the trails. some technical bits with big jumps but you can avoid the jumps if you don't feel like doing them. Definitely recommend a visit

Danbury Local

Danbury is my local ride area so have a fondness for it. There is plenty of riding in the area but none of it marked and can be pretty spread out. Definitely need a local to show you around to get the best out of it. We have pieced together a pleasant 15 mile loop making up the most of it. If you just want the freeride area then head for Copt Hill and you should find it. There is enough to keep you entertained for an hour or two.

What do you like?

Some nice areas to ride XC, if you like exploring then it will suit you. Good mixture and some nice little downhill quick sections. Small runs as it is Essex. As the highest point is 92m int he area you never have a major climb in one go. Freeride area can be fun to improve skills.

What could be improved?

If you dont know or local or like reading maps it is hard to find all the good spots. Can be very muddy in winter, a lot of horse riding in the area. For some bizarre reason people tend to walk there dogs in the bombholes in freeride area so be careful on your first few runs till you get to know the terrain.

Would you recommend?

*Yes*
