Description

Colden Common Pump Track is an asphalt pump track tucked into a small woodland dell in Colden Common Park, the village park between Winchester and Eastleigh run by Colden Common Parish Council: one compact track of rollers and berms by Forte Trailscapes, winding between the trees.

The Track

  • An asphalt track of rollers and berms built into a woodland dell of about 50 by 40 metres, with mature trees left standing between the lines.
  • Built by Forte Trailscapes for Colden Common Parish Council.
  • The lines double back on each other, so you can keep linking laps without pedalling.

Also in the Park

  • Three football pitches, a cricket square, a six-rink bowling green and a pavilion.
  • Picnic benches beside the track, a play area, a picnic area and Hazel Copse Woodland.

Getting Here

  • Colden Common Park is off the B3334, with the entrance and car park on Boyes Lane, Colden Common, SO21 1TA. The track is in the trees on the far side of the cricket ground.
