Description
Christleton Pump Track is an asphalt pump track at Little Heath in Christleton, just outside Chester. It is a relatively small circuit of hills, dips and bends, built for bikes and scooters, and it suits beginners and families as well as riders who want to practise carrying speed.
The Track
- The track is asphalt, so it rides fast, and a drainage scheme was built in to keep the surface clear of standing water.
- Four straights are fitted to the available land and linked by bends, with plenty of hills and dips, so you can lap it by pumping rather than pedalling.
- It was built by Clark and Kent Contractors for Christleton Parish Council.
Getting Here
The track is on Christleton Park and Playing Field at Little Heath, Christleton, CH3 7AH, in the village just outside Chester.
