Burnley Pump track is a new bike track in the Brun Valley Forest Park that has just opened in Burnley in Lancashire. It is a 120 metres long, looped track with rollers and berms.

The track has been designed for both mountain bikes and BMX bikes and is suitable for all ages and experience levels. The track was designed by IBIKERide's good friend Ian Warby from the CTC and Jan Czuganlinski from Ride-On Cycles in Rawtenstall and of course with help from the good folks at PMBA.

Other Stuff

  • It has been built by Territorial Army soldiers from the 75 Engineer Regiment who were helped by young people from the Prince’s Trust as part of the three-week Brun Valley Army Challenge.
  • 340 tonnes of recycled materials and 30 tonnes of stone were used to create the track.
  • Other off road cycle tracks are planned.

  • If you have ridden the new pump track at Burnley then why not share your experiences by posting some pics, vids, favouriting the track or even writing a short review.
