Description

Brown’s Field Pump Track is an asphalt pump track beside Brown’s Field Community Centre on Green End Road in Chesterton, Cambridge, built by Clark and Kent Contractors for Cambridge City Council. It is a compact learn-to-ride loop of berms and rollers for scooters, BMX bikes and mountain bikes.

The Track

The layout follows the roll of the ground, linking berms, rollers and small obstacles into one continuous loop that is easy to lap slowly and quicker as confidence grows. Drainage under the track helps it clear after rain.

Getting Here

The track is beside Brown’s Field Community Centre, 31a Green End Road, Chesterton, Cambridge CB4 1RU. The centre has a small car park and cycle racks, and Milton Road Park and Ride and the guided busway are a short walk away.

Cambridge has two more Clark and Kent pump tracks: Pye’s Field Pump Track and Trumpington Pump Track.
