Description

Broseley Pump Track is a pump track in Birchmeadow Park, Broseley, built by Clark and Kent Contractors. Asphalt berms link hard-packed straights of rollers and mellow rises on a slope at the edge of the playing field, so it suits steady laps as well as faster, pump-driven runs.

The Track

  • The track is a single loop of rollers and rises, built into a grassy slope at the edge of the park's playing field.
  • Asphalt berms and corners link straights of hard-packed rollers, with white edge lines marking the asphalt sections.
  • It is open to anyone to ride, and sits close to the play area, football pitches and basketball court, so there is usually something for the rest of the family to do.

Getting Here

  • Use TF12 5NG for Birchmeadow Park, Broseley. The park is open every day and can be reached from Birchmeadow Road and Cockshutt Lane.
  • There is free parking at the Cockshutt Lane car park and beside the Birchmeadow Centre, then follow the park paths to the track.
